As we continue our journey our guides will point out areas of interest along the way including the quaint fishing villages of Anse La Raye and Canaries. Capture on film the famous pitons, world heritage sites, rising majestically from the sea.

As we enter Soufriere harbor we will visit the famous Bat cave where millions of several bat species hordes precariously in a crevice along a cliff. Our tour to Soufriere starts with a visit to the sulphurs springs, the Caribbean’s only drive-in volcano, where we will view pools of boiling water and superheated gases gushing from the vents of a dormant volcano. Further downstream you can also experience a mud bath and natural Jacuzzi in the water reputed for its medicinal properties.

Our next stop is to the Toraille waterfall where you can witness and bathe in the swirling and invigorating pool of a rain forest stream cascading about 50 feet along a hillside.

We will drive you to our family house for a traditional St Lucian Creole Lunch, and then a walking and shopping stop through the historic town of Soufriere. We re-embarked the boat for the gorgeous Jalousie Beach, where you will snorkel through pristine, crystal clear waters to view the most colorful reef in St Lucia. From there we take you back to your hotel or cruise ship.

SOUFRIERE BY LAND ONLY

Take a trip with us by land through the scenic west coast of St Lucia. Along the way we will visit the St Lucia Rum Factory where more than 20 different local rum and liquor is manufactured. We will also make photo stops at a viewing point overlooking the picturesque Marigot Bay, St Lucia’s largest Banana Plantation in the Roseau Valley, and the quaint, fishing villages of Anse LA Raye and Canaries.

You will be fascinated by your first view of the majestic piton from a brilliant mountain vista overlooking the town of Soufriere. Your visit to the boiling sulphur springs will take you right back to the volcanic forces which gave birth to St Lucia. Further downstream you will experience a mud bath and natural Jacuzzi in the water reputed for its medicinal properties.

From there we visit the Toraille waterfall where you can have an invigorating experience in the swirling, crystal clear pool of a rain forest stream cascading about 50 ft along a hillside. We take you to our family house for a traditional St Lucian Creole lunch, and then for a walking and shopping tour through the historic town of Soufriere.

From there we take you to a snorkeling trip between the pitons and then back to your hotel or cruise ship.
